Bridging Gaps. Strengthening Communities.
2nd Community Exposure
AUGUST 27 - SEPTEMBER 24, 2022
There really are those times when you can't help but get touched by the stories and lives of the community people. This is one of those times. | A simple makeshift house, but is home to a family of 5. In the community is where we find simple living - a roof over the head and meals to get by the day, but is also where gratitude and contentment are seen best. | An interview for a Family Health Plan. |

Retouch sah ta, beh! :D After spending the whole morning doing house-to-house surveys, our oily faces need some freshening up. | In the Barangay Health Station (BHS), validating the data we've gathered from our survey. | Mangaun ta! :) Our simple but yummy meal, prepared by one of our Suclema Chefs. *For the record, the chefs are Kuya Rogelle, Ninzky, and Naifa. |
Lex (a.k.a "Jubaika") interviewing one of the residents of Purok Lily. | Rogelle (a.k.a "Master") taking note of the details Lola is telling him. | Fresh Buko Juice while doing an interview. Daghang salamat, Ma'am, for sharing a buko from your vast backyard. |
Consolidating our data on the weekends. :) Ninz, our Miss Universe, posing beautifully for the camera. | Our very handy gas stove powered by butane. Haha! | Niña doing a one-on-one interview with our Barangay Captain. |
Turning over of the cake after a farewell walk. Charot! This is actually a photo of Rogelle giving a "thank you" cake for the Suclema Barangay Council; taken a night before leaving Suclema (to go home... to the place where I belong 🎶) | Part of the Under 5 [year olds] Assessment is height measurement. *This photo is posted with the consent and approval of the parent. | |
